The Korgis: Kartoon World, 2CD

In March 2020 as lock-down hit the UK, The Korgis had no intention of writing a new album...
We had no idea it would be a powerful marriage of art and music...
We had no idea it would be a concept album... and certainly, no idea that a year later - as we were finishing up - that our partnering up with other artists would send creative
sparks flying in all directions!

The new concept album by The Korgis is an epic body of music seamlessly spanning a 50 year period. It begins in 1980 and ends in 2030 with a blinding realisation. The world is headed for a colossal fall, and the power of Love - not technology - would be the one undisputable answer! Well isn’t it about time we had something more than the same pop song churned out by a built-in-obsolescence X-factor contestant?
This double CD contains - not surprisingly - two different versions of the album.
CD1: This is the regular mix - optimised for radio, or car journeys where you want to impress passers by with your subwoofer turned way up! This one comes in at some 6 minutes longer than the vinyl - because we can!
CD2: This one contains a digital version of the vinyl mixes, so gives you the full retro dynamics. The album length here comes in around 49 mins - so gives us around 20 mins to give you more goodies! This also includes some alternative versions and surprises (maybe even to us!) only available here.
