The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown is being reissued as a fantastic 180 gram multi-coloured vinyl LP exclusively for Record Store Day 2017

Record Store Day UK returns on Saturday 22nd April and we have seven exclusive vinyl releases lined up to mark the occasion this year so we thought we’d highlight each one for you in the run up to the day itself…

First up is this fantastic 180 gram multi-coloured vinyl LP limited edition release of “THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN”.

The Psychedelic Rock classic burst forth in 1968, topping the album charts on both sides of the Atlantic and spawning the hit single ‘Fire’. The rock world discovered the delights of rock’s supreme showman Arthur Brown and his influence would be felt the following decade whenAlice Cooper acknowledged his debt to Arthur’s genius. Produced by Who manager Kit Lambert and Who guitarist Pete Townshend, this classic album has been remastered and includes a reproduction of a very rare 1968 Track Records promotional poster (pictured above with the brilliantly coloured LP and sleeve.
