Description
Released 20/04/09. John Fiddler (guitar, vocals) and Peter Hope-Evans (harmonica) were the group to inspire DJ John Peel to found his Dandelion label. They were also his best-selling act. Along with Jethro Tull, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Family, Medicine Head were one of the groups to cross over from underground to chart in the late 60s/early 70s without losing credibility. Highlights include tracks such as Thou Shalt Not Pass and Back To The Wall never before available on UK CD, and a cover version of Robert Johnson’s Walking Blues.
