Back in 2004 Steve recorded "Best Of Days", and he invited his very old friend Roger Daltrey down to the studio originally because he needed a "a dirty harmonica solo", and Roger came in and did exactly what was required. The pair then spontaneously arranged and recorded "Yellow Rose Of Texas".
On the bonus track "Everlasting Love", which was recorded live at Fairfield Hall Croydon in 2001 on Paul Weller's"Wings Of Speed" tour, Steve appeared as a guest of Paul - another long-time friend. Also on guitar on the night was Steve Craddock from Ocean Colour Scene.
