Deniece first made an impression as part of Stevie Wonder’s back-up trio WONDERLOVE in the early seventies. In 1976 she released her debut album This Is Niecy which featured the mega-hit FREE which topped the UK chart. Her sophomore set, Song Bird followed in 1977. Deniece then enjoyed an international smash hit in the form of Too Much, Too Little, Too Late with Johnny Mathis.

WHEN LOVE COMES FALLING followed in 1979 and saw Deniece embracing the Disco movement, The album was produced by industry giants David Foster and Ray Parker, Jr. It was also Deniece’s first album on Maurice White’s ARC label and found her back in the top thirty of the R&B album chart. Featured are the R&B hit singles I’ve Got The Next Dance which also topped the Billboard Disco chat and I Found Love. Both are also featured here in their rare 12″ Disco Remixes.
