Renaissance, The Association s second LP, was originally issued by Valiant Records in November 1966. The Billboard Pop #34 LP sported one of the most adventurously psychedelic singles of the band’s career: the Top 40 Pandora’s Golden Heebie Jeebies.
Produced by Jerry Yester (The Modern Folk Quartet, Lovin’ Spoonful) who also produced Tim Buckley’s second and third LPs, Renaissance showcased The Association at their purest forgoing outside studio musicians, with most of the band evenly showcasing their own material. This Deluxe Expanded Mono Edition features the original mono mix of the album, which has been out of print since1967.
The 16-page, full-colour booklet includes rare, unpublished photos and extensive liner notes featuring the participation of original band members.
