Product Description

Cherry Red’s Football Collectors Series presents a new tribute CD to the Welsh Football Team. Having covered English and Scottish national teams already Cherry Red is now proud to issue a new CD rounding up songs in tribute to one of the fastest rising teams in world football.

This September Wales embark on their qualifying campaign for the 2006 World Cup Finals and after their near miss at qualifying for Euro 2004 they’ll be in their best position for years to qualify for a major championship.

Songs on this new CD include traditional Welsh classics “Men Of Harlech”, “Land Of My Fathers” and “Calon Lan” alongside newer songs like “Wooly Bully” by former Welsh captain Vinny Jones and a tribute to the flying winger; “Ryan Giggs We Love You” by the Rainbow Choir.

This CD also features spoken word extracts, with goal commentary from recent Welsh international matches and also a tribute to the Welsh legend that was John Charles.
