One of the finest bands to emerge from the Punk scene of 1977, Manchester’s Buzzcocks perfected a blend of new wave energy, melodic acumen and lyrical wit.

• Having reunited in 1991, Buzzcocks have been a steady draw on the live circuit ever since, with a string of highly regarded reunion albums. Sadly, at the end of 2018, they lost lead singer Pete Shelley. But the band have continued with guitarist and co-founder Steve Diggle stepping up to the mic.

• New single ‘Gotta Get Better’ / ‘Destination Zero’ is the first fruits of their new line-up, two high octane, quintessentially Buzzcocks-ish songs which hark back to their halcyon days in the late 70s. This is only available physically as a strictly limited edition orange vinyl 7” (500 copies only!). Grab them while you can!

• Buzzcocks toured the UK in December with dates in Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow and elsewhere, and have plans to continue with more concerts in 2020 – watch this space!
