1973. The album features the lead vocals of Teddy Pendergrass and the classic Philly production of Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff.

Featured are the full length versions of Philly anthems THE LOVE I LOST (#1 R&B) and SATISFACTION GUARANTEED (#6 R&B). BBR introduce the first ever re-master of this album on CD and Black & Blue is regarded as one of the great Philly Soul albums ever produced.
