Peg, a new musical with music and lyrics by David Heneker, opened at the Phoenix Theatre London, on Thursday, 12 April 2000. Jay recorded Peg with the Original London Cast.
Loosely based on the play Peg OMy Heart by J. Hartly Manners, Peg stars Sian Phillips, Edward Duke, Martin Smith, Patricia Michaels, David McAlister, Julia Sutton, John Hewer, Lisa Sadovy and Kim Smith. Ann Morrison will make her British stage debut in the title role of Peg; her previous stage appearance to this performance was starring in the Broadway production of the Stephen Sondheim musical Merrily We Roll Along.
