They are also the longest running girl group in the world and MAYBE was their debut album in 1970, it put them on the musicalmap after a couple of years without major success. After later hits on Philadelphia International Records, Roulette put together an album of mainly unreleased material – the result was SO MUCH LOVE, which is reproduced in it’s entirety on the second disc in this deluxe reissue.
MAYBE, a cover of the Chantels,, was the Three Degrees first hit reaching R&B #4 and Pop #29. It was sampled by J Dilla in 2006. They achieved further R&B hits with I DO TAKE YOU, YOU’RE THE ONE, THERE’S SO MUCH LOVE ALL AROUND ME and TRADE WINDS.
