ESOTERIC RECORDINGS are pleased to announce the release of a newly remastered and expanded edition of the classic 1977 album by legendary guitarist Jan Akkerman.

Released at the close of 1977 on Atlantic Records, Jan Akkerman’s self-titled album was his third solo album and his first solo work since departing Focus and was arguably more jazz – rock orientated in direction.

This Esoteric Recordings edition has been newly re-mastered from the original Atlantic Records master tapes and includes the rare single version of ‘Angel Watch’ (previously unreleased on CD). The release includes a booklet, which fully restores the original album artwork and a new essay.
