A 2-CD set by the super vocal group, THE STYLISTICS known for their run of 70s hits that began in 1972. This Soul Music.com Records release combines two rare albums that the quartet (Russell Thompkins Jr., Airrion Love, Herb Murrell and James Smith) recorded for Mercury Records in 1978 and 1979.
In Fashion and Love Spell were arranged and produced by the late Teddy Randazzo (best known for his 60s work with Little Anthony & The Imperials and The Royalettes and composer of classics such as Goin Out Of My Head and It ‘s Gonna Take A Miracle ).
Randazzo wrote or co-wrote all of the tracks on In Fashion and seven of the tracks on 1979’s Love Spell, which also included songswritten by group members Russell Thompkins Jr. and Airrion Love.
