Full Flava: Colour Of My Soul, CD

Birmingham studio band FULL FLAVA return with a second Dome album featuring the cream of UK – and US – female guest vocalists.

Former Young Disciples and Brand New Heavies vocalist Carleen Anderson contributes vocals on two songs, including the soulful first single “Stories”, and CeCe Peniston is back, guesting on two tracks, including “I Think About Him”, which she co-wrote with the Full Flava team.

UK guests include Romina Johnson, Alison ‘Where Love Lives’ Limerick and Hazel Fernandes, as well as Dome artists Donna Gardier and Beverlei Brown, whose “Love Holds No Limit” is one of the album highlights. Hazel’s take on the Nat King Cole/George Benson classic “Nature Boy” is also a delight. The only new name is Donna Odain, who sings and also co-wrote the Eighties-flavoured “Make It Right”.
