Garland Jeffreys is a unique performer, whose albums boast a ‘who is who’ of American musicians from the 1980's, confirming his credibility within the artistic community. Featured musicans on this album include, Lou Reed, Linton Kwesi Johnson, David Johansen and Nona Hendryx. The album is co-produced by Garland Jeffreys and legendary US record producer, Bob Clearmountain.
The CD features 7 bonus tracks, 4 of which are taken from the American CD reissue of the album, plus re-mastered versions of the 1981 single '96 Tears / Escape Goat Dub', finished off with the seminal track 'Hail Hail Rock 'N' Roll'. A true masterpiece.
