Having gained initial recognition as one half of the England Dan And John Ford Coley, who had a worldwide chart hit with their debut 'Really Love To See You Tonight', Dan Seals went on to record 16 studio albums during the 1980s and charted more than 20 singles on the Country chart, eleven of which reached number one.
His brother, Jim, of Seals And Crofts fame gave him the childhood nickname England Dan because of his love of The Beatles and his adoption of an English accent.
