Black And White: Expanded Edition

•    You may know Danny Bowes, Luke Morley and Harry James respectively as the singer, guitarist and drummer in inimitable British hard rock heroes THUNDER, but long before they were composing their Backstreet Symphonies, these three plucky cockney rockers played together in the more pop-orientated Terraplane.

•    Having originally met at school, Danny and Luke formed Terraplane in the early 80s, releasing their debut single ‘I Survive’ in 1983 (included here as a bonus track). Building up a loyal following in London, and with support from Kerrang! magazine, they eventually found major label recognition when they signed to Epic records, releasing "Black And White”, their debut, in 1985.

•    ‘I'm The One’ features none other than Jools Holland on organ, and ‘Couldn't Handle The Tears’ has guest vocals from Ruby Turner and this expanded edition has a total of eight bonus tracks.

•    After 1987’s "Moving Target” LP, Terraplane split up, with its principle members forming the harder rocking Thunder, and the rest, as they say, is history. Thunder continue to tour, and will be appearing on the main-stage in support of Aerosmith at the Calling festival at London’s Clapham Common.
