Britny Fox / Boys In Heat
Britny Fox an American glam metal band established themselves early on as hard-hitting contenders. Their self titled debut album was released to great acclaim and one of the most successful premieres of 1988, winning them Metal Edge Magazines 1988 Reader's Choice Award. Their second album 'Boys In Heat' in 1989 fires on all cylinders and rarely misses a beat. Bassist Billy Childs is appearing in writer/director Cory J. Udlers horror film 'Incest Death Squad' which stars George Kosana of 'Night of the Living Dead' and has its World Premier at The Madeson Horror Film Festival on 2 October 2009.

Blue & Lonesome
The classic 1963 album that took Jones from uptempo country star to the netherworld of aching melancholy. 12 sparkling diamonds from his brief spell at Mercury Records. The title alone sums up the great man and his interpretations of Don Williams' ‘Oh Lonesome Me' and a couple of Hank Williams' broodier ballads make this an absolute must for yearning lovelorn music fans anywhere. Enhanced with half a dozen cuts from his earliest ‘50s 78 recordings, the mood is supremely downbeat even when the tempo lifts.

George Jones became widely acclaimed as the king of heartbreak country and ‘Blue And Lonesome' positively ladles on the angst.

Illusion
The band
was formed in 1973 by guitarist GARY BOYLE and also featured JEFF CLYNE
on Bass, BRIAN MILLER on Keyboards and NIGEL MORRIS on drums. Jeff Clyne
had previously played with Ian Carr’s Nucleus, whilst Gary Boyle had
played with Stomu Yamashta’s East Wind.Isotope’s self titled
debut album was released in early 1974 and continued the tradition of
Jazz Rock fusion that had been pioneered by acts such as Tony Williams
Lifetime and The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Although critically acclaimed,
Brian Miller and Jeff Clyne departed Isotope shortly after the debut
album had appeared and were replaced by former SOFT MACHINE bassist HUGH
HOPPER and keyboard player LAURENCE SCOTT. This line-up recorded the
excellent album Illusion with former Family member Poli Palmer
producing.  A Jazz Rock classic, this Esoteric Recordings reissue has been newly re-mastered and features a booklet with new essay.

A Rainbow In Curved Air
Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a new remastered edition of the wonderful ambient and experimental work by composer Terry Riley, "A Rainbow in Curved Air”. One of the great modern musical works, Riley composed this influential piece utilising tape loop recording in 1967, performing every instrument himself.

A pioneer of modern music, Riley’s all night performances of his work were ground breaking experimental events and influenced composers such as Philip Glass. Released as an album in 1969, "A Rainbow in Curved Air” brought Riley to a wider rock audience. The British band CURVED AIR took their name from this work and PETE TOWNSHEND of The Who was inspired by Riley’s music to create the seminal songs "Baba O’ Riley” and "Won’t Get Fooled Again”. "A Rainbow in Curved Air” remains a highly influential creation
