Quatermass CD/DVD
A DELUXE TWO DISC EDITION OF THE CLASSIC ALBUM BY QUATERMASS
FEATURING A CD OF A NEW STEREO MIX OF THE ALBUM BY THE BAND’s PETER ROBINSON WITH THREE BONUS TRACKS (TWO PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED)
AN NTSC / REGION FREE DVD OF A NEW 5.1 SURROUND SOUND MIX OF THE ALBUM BY PETER ROBINSON

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a Two disc Deluxe edition of the self titled album by QUATERMASS. Originally released in 1970 on the Harvest label, "Quatermass” is one of the most remarkable albums of the era. Featuring PETER ROBINSON (Keyboards), JOHN GUSTAFSON (Bass, Vocals) and MICK UNDERWOOD (Drums, Percussion), Quatermass were one of the most imaginative groups of the Progressive era. Their unique brand of powerful progressive rock encompassed classical music and hard rock, a unique combination that influenced contemporaries such as Deep Purple (indeed Ritchie Blackmore covered "Black Sheep of the Family” on the first Rainbow album).
This Esoteric Recordings edition features stunning new mixes by Peter Robinson in both Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound, along with three bonus tracks, two of which are previously unreleased.
The set also features a lavishly illustrated booklet with new essay written by Peter Robinson.

Windows
The White Door formed in Stoke out of the smouldering ashes of prog band Grace. Mac and Harry got together with Harry’s brother John and Started to write some new songs that fitted the times and their current tastes. The White Door album Windows is a very important 80’spop album; not only is it filled with great songs and a couple of singles that should have bothered the charts a great deal more than they did, it also marks the production debut for Andy Richards. After working with White Door Andy Richards made a name for himself in the80’s as a producer, keyboard player and programmer;working with a near endless roll call of the good and the great from the 80’s pop scene including Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Grace Jones (both with Trevor Horn), George Michael, Wet Wet Wet, Pet Shop Boys and many many more massive names. His distinctive and sought after touches are all over this album, coupled with some great song-writing and performances from the band. Cherry Pop once again brings you a genuine lost pop classic.

Whatever Turns You On
Esoteric Recordings are proud to release this classic rock album from 1973, the second by the amazing power trio, West Bruce & Laing. Forming in 1972 the band brought together Cream bassist, vocalist and writer Jack Bruce with Leslie West and Corky Laing from the American band Mountain. Together WBL recorded three albums, all of which demonstrated the group's power and dexterity. Following the release of their debut, 'Why Doncha?' for CBS records in Europe, the band moved to RSO Records to record this, their last studio album which featured such classics as ‘Scotch Krotch'. Alas, the band only lasted some eighteen months before breaking apart. This Esoteric release, re-mastered from the original tapes, follows on the heels of the label's critically acclaimed 6 CD set Jack Bruce retrospective 'Can You Follow?' and is indeed a welcome one for all fans of classic rock!

Decca Singles 1975-79
· Every A and B side issued by "guitarist’s guitarist” John Miles for Decca Records between 1975 and 1979 is what you’ll find on this 17 track release

 · Includes the world-wide smash "Music” as well as John’s other hit singles – "Highfly” (No.17), "Remember Yesterday” (No.32) and "Slow Down” (No.10)

· The wall of picture sleeves featured in the booklet will leave even the richest John Miles collector in the poor house!

Press:-

"This collection of music of the past (no music of the future; that would be impossible sci-fi) showcases Miles as a top talent who simply needed a firm musical direction.”

-Geoff Barton / Classic Rock May 2012

"With all four singer/songwriter/guitarist John Miles’ Decca albums already released by sister label Lemon, the 7T’s imprint releases one which is arguably stronger than the others, as it rounds up the 17 songs Miles released as singles A- and B-sides during his Decca tenure.”
