THE HOUSE OF LOVE were one of the most critically acclaimed Indie Rock bands of the late 80s/early 1990s.

Their eponymous Creation Records debut album was cited as one of the best albums of 1988 (November 2012’s 3-CD deluxe edition has enjoyed rave reviews and impressive sales).

SHE PAINTS WORDS IN RED is a brand new studio album by the band, still fronted by the band’s singer/songwriter/guitarist Guy Chadwick with lead guitarist Terry Bickers, drummer Pete Evans and bassist Matt Jury.

The House Of Love will play a short acoustic set at an exclusive after-show party at a secret venue in Kings Cross on Thursday 11th April. True heroes of the underground certainly the Scottish music underground defiantly of the Bellshill scene. Duglas T. Stewart has been the mainstay of this band that has featured members of The Teenage Fanclub and The Vaselines.

Their sound is as much west coast Americana as it is west Scotland. Their songs are full of heartbreak and humour mixed with a laid back guitar sound that amongst many others attracted the attention of Kurt Cobain who was famously photographed wearing their T-shirts and claiming that they were the only other band he would like to be in.

Life Goes On features the great singles Serious Drugs , Little Hands and Kylies Got A Crush On Us . This edition contains and extra disk with all the b-sides from those singles, sleeve notes by Duglas and images dug out from his loft.

		Released on 16/08/10. BMX Bandits are a Scottish 1960s-influenced guitar pop band who have been making music from 1986 to the present day. Bow Wow Wow
		Bow Wow Wow was Malcolm McLaren's (RIP Bless him) first big project after the Sex Pistols imploded, and the erstwhile media manipulator made sure his new band bounded onto the scene with a whole gaggle of gimmicks. The first was Annabella Lwin, a 14-year-old Burmese immigrant McLaren found working in a laundry and decided to remake into a post punk goddess. Then there was what used to be Adam's Ants, the trio of Matthew Ashman (guitar), Leroy Gorman (bass), and Dave Barbarossa (drums), whom McLaren introduced to African music -- specifically, the sound of Burundi tribal drumming – then induced to dump Adam and follow him. But it was the product that ultimately pulled the package together. Bow Wow Wow's cassette-only first single, a home-taping anthem called C-30, C-60, C-90 Go! , Much the same can be said for the impossibly titled See Jungle! See Jungle!
