The band are celebrating twenty-five years since the release of their debut album "The Christians” – which was a massive success at the end of the 1980’s, climbing to no 2 on the UK chart and spawning five top forty hit singles.

"Speed Of Life” contains a mixture of classic Christians anthems such as the title track, stripped down raw ballads and a storming cover of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Inner City Blues’.

The original album was a massive success for the Liverpool based band on its release in 1987 – going to number two in the UK album chart and spawning five top forty hit singles. This deluxe version features a raft of extra tracks from around the period of the original album release, including the band’s biggest hit single, a cover of the Isley Brothers "Harvest For The World”, which made number eight in the UK singles chart. Fuzzy Duck
		Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a newly remastered edition of the 1971 album by the legendary heavy Progressive rock outfit FUZZY DUCK. Featuring GARTH WATT ROY (guitar, vocals), ROY SHARLAND (organ), MICK HAWKSWORTH (bass) and PAUL FRANCIS (drums), the band signed to Gordon Mills’ MAM label, recording an album and two singles for the imprint. Although their records failed to sell at the time of release, FUZZY DUCK’s recorded output became highly sought after by collectors throughout the world, with their heavy organ driven progressive rock winning over new listeners in the ensuing years. This Esoteric Recordings reissue has been newly remastered from the original master tapes, includes four bonus tracks taken from the two singles issued by the band and features a booklet that fully restores all original album artwork with a new essay. 		When Johnny Cash was asked "Who’s your favourite singer?” he responded "you mean apart from George Jones?” Here we have two great albums from the greatest voice in country music. "The Grand Tour” released in 1974 features two country chart singles, the title track reaching No. 1 and ‘Once You’ve Had The Best’ getting to No. 3. Music critic Thom Jurek in a retrospective review rated it as one of the finest country albums of the 70s. The other featured album "Alone Again” was originally released in 1976 and includes the No. 3 hit single ‘Her name is . . . ‘. Madam Butterfly
		The brothers TAVARES were at the top of their game in 1978 thanks to massive hits like ‘It Only Takes A Minute,’ ‘Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel’ and the Grammy-winning "More Than A Woman.” For MADAM BUTTERFLY, their seventh album for Capitol, the brothers wanted to create a project that would mark a return to their soul/R&B roots: they worked with producer/arranger Bobby Martin, known for his Philly sessions with Thom Bell and Gamble & Huff. Based in L.A., Martin pulled together top writers of the day - including Sam Dees and the team of Grey & Hanks for the project. The result was an album that was played almost in its entirety by U.S. R&B stations. The first single, ‘Never Had A Love Like This Before’ was a Top 5 R&B hit in advance of the release of MADAM BUTTERFLY. Highlights included ‘Let Me Heal The Bruises,’ ‘Straight From The Heart’ and the original version of ‘I’m Back For More’ (later recorded by Al Johnson). Only available previously as a Japanese CD, this expanded edition of the much-loved MADAM BUTTERFLY album includes three bonus tracks and is part of the series of reissues by SoulMusic Records of great albums by Tavares including "In The City” (SMCR-5022), "Sky-High!” (SMCR-5023), "Supercharged” (SMCR-5045) and "Love Uprising” (SMCR-5065). Notes by renowned U.S. writer Kevin Goins include quotes from 2012 interviews with Tiny Tavares and producer Bobby Martin for this reissue.
