Hair Of The Dog - Live From London - Nazareth

Hair Of The Dog - Live From London
Released 30/03/09. Nazareth are one of the legendary acts to emerge from the 1970's progressive and hard rock scenes – a name recognised and loved all around the world. The band were formed in the late 1960's but only began to enjoy success in the mid 1970's, when their "Razamanaz" album spawned two top ten UK singles "Broken Down Angel" and "Bad Bad Boy

It was 1975' "Hair Of The Dog" album that broke the band as an international success, selling over a million copies in the US - the single "Love Hurts" was a US chart top ten hit. The band went on to establish themselves in the vanguard of rock with a series of classic albums throughout the late 70's and early 80's. This DVD captures a full show from the London leg of one of the band's many UK tours from the early 1980's.

Red With Purple Flashes – The Creation Live
The Creation were undoubtedly one of the most under appreciated bands to emerge from the UK during the 1960's, but their legend has grown with time and 'Red With Purple Flashes' is the first ever DVD to feature the band. Focusing on their 1990's reformation, the DVD captures the band as they are due to play their first gigs in almost thirty years, at London's Mean Fiddler venue.

Interviews with the original band members show their nerves at returning to the live stage, but also the great pride they have in their music and their legacy. We are then treated to the comeback gig itself and also another live show from 1995 at the same venue. Amongst the tracks featured are the classic 'Painter Man' and 'Making Time'.

The Creation are still highly revered by today's artists, Creation Records founder Alan McGee not only named his company after the band but also his band, Biff Bang Pow (named after a Creation b-side) and Ride covered 'How Does It Feel To Feel' on their 'Carnival Of Light' album.
