Burning In The Shade - Tygers Of Pan Tang (The)

Burning In The Shade
Hailing from Whitley Bay in the Northeast of England, and taking their name from the Michael Moorcock novel 'Stormbringer', The Tygers Of Pan Tang were one of the foremost New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands. Releasing their first single, "Don't Touch Me There", in September 1979, the band later went on to tour with classic acts such as Iron Maiden, The Scorpions, and Budgie. Never Before released on CD and not available on vinyl since 1987 this album is rare glimpse at the band at the height of their career. Sleevenotes come courtesy of British Heavy Metal legend Geoff Barton, who discovered Def Leppard, The band have now reformed and are currently touring worldwide, with almost the entire original line up.

Shout It Out
Field gte not in Database

MainEEaxe came out just of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) Singer Mick Adamson, was in Bulldog Breed, who s 1969 album, Made in England, is considered a minor psyche-rock classic in the Floyd/Hawkwind tradition. (Available on Graperfruit) Shout it Out, the bands first album came out on Power Station in 1985.

Shout It Out has many bright spots including Rock City a catchy riff-metal anthem that brings to mind Wiped Out era Raven, Run to the Angels, is a real arena-shaking hard rocker, and both Are You Ready and Cold As Ice have enough spit and sweatin‘ to remind you that MainEEaxe were actually dirty teenage punk rockers somewhere back there.

Going For Gold

MainEEaxe came out just of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) Singer Mick Adamson, was in Bulldog Breed, who s 1969 album, Made in England, is considered a minor psyche-rock classic in the Floyd/Hawkwind tradition. (Available on Graperfruit)

For this their second album MainEEaxe, picked up a new rhythm section, toured with Magnum, and released an EP, Days of Thunder (which features on this edition), and Going for the Gold. Radio Active
Upon its release in May '81, the Canadian guitar virtuoso's sixth studio album charged its way into the U.S. Top 40 and galvanized Pat Travers as a one of the few Rock artists with the ability to alchemically mix Hard Rock guitar histrionics with nagging hooks and instantly sing-able melodies. Criminally overlooked until now, this 'lost' classic album finally gains a long-overdue re-assessment and in so doing, gains a first-ever appearance on CD. Faithfully re-mastered with full audio approval from Pat Travers. Story of the album sleeve-notes by Classic Rock magazine News Editor, Dave Ling. Pat Travers continues to tour and play the U.K. for his faithful fan-base. Our Price: £9.95

Black Pearl

Now this previously 'lost' classic finally receives a long-overdue re-issue and, in so doing marks it's first-ever appearance on CD. Faithfully re-mastered with full audio approval from Pat Travers. Story of the album sleeve-notes by Classic Rock magazine News Editor, Dave Ling. Pat Travers continues to tour and play the U.K. for his faithful fan-base. Our Price: £9.95
