Moonrider - Moonrider

Moonrider
First UK reissue for this well regarded UK soft rock album. Thought of at the time as an English Steely Dan. Band put together in 1974 by Keith Teenage Opera West and John Weider (then ex- Family and Eric Burdons Animals). West and Weider wrote all the material and drafted in more players for a fuller sound and live performing. Joined by old acquaintance Bruce Thomas (later to join Elvis Costello in his Attractions) and Chico Greenwood. Signed the band to Anchor Records and released the album in 1975. Two singles released to promote the album, three tracks off the LP and one non LP b-side. As a bonus here we include the two singles Keith West recorded and released as a solo artist through Deram in 1973 and 1974.
