The Quiet Five : Complete Recordings
Complete Recordings
rpm308

The Quiet Five are a mid 60’s English Harmony Beat band who had a UU hit with a cover of Simon and Garfunkels ‘Homeward Bound’. The band included cult pop luminaries Richard Barnes and Kris Ife, who went on to write with Mr Teenage Opera Mark Wirtz and make an album as Judd for Larry Page, as well as more behind the scenes production work.

The Quiet Five were regulars on the Live circuit and in the studio. They made recordings mostly with producer Ron Richards, plus Alan Moorhouse on their last single Goodnight,Sleep Tight, a proto-pop-psych feel and Brill Bldg.-style record in 1967.
