 This pair teamed up after gigging as solo artists around Florida and then signed with producer Shelby Singleton's SSS International label. Their debut record was a smash hit called "Lover's Holiday" which was swiftly followed by "Picking Wild Mountain Berries". The duo were a driving soul act which also boasted a very distinctive electric sitar sound in the backing band. Their impact on the soul scene continued to yield a string of hits through the mid-60s. After the hits they both performed solo again and Peggy Scott-Adams enjoyed a late 90's hit via a TV theme. The duo reunited in 1999 for new LP.
