The group has charted with beat and ballad singles, and has a following ranging from Northern Soul to dance-floors to armchair listeners. It is to the latter category that this selection is primarily aimed, as we focus on the great soul ballad performances, favoured by the group, recorded during singles, and others that were notable album tracks.
