Where do The Girls of the

In Hollywood in the 1960's....you could reinvent yourself as anything ..... Mark Eric Malmborg, Hollywood actor, male model and music fan, who made a number of appearances on the Partridge Family and countless TV and magazine ads.....for whom it was forever 1965 and a midsummer's day on the beach.....against all the expectations of his musician friends, in 1968 wrote a suite of exquisite soft psych pop songs, originally intending to find someone to cover them, as his friend ex-Animal Vic Briggs had with his instrumental "Night Of The Lions"...instead he entered the then brand-new Sound City Studios, stomping ground of The Millennium and Gary Usher among others, and made this beautiful album, catching the tail end of LA's pop innocence perfectly, just as it was gone forever.....soon afterwards, he took on a new career as entertainment director on cruise liners, and dropped from sight, as some speculated on another mystery 1960's casualty....last year he reappeared fit and healthy in LA, and was persuaded by a new generation of musicians to perform "A Midsummer Day's Dream" live at various locations.....to widespread acclaim.....here, for the first time, his complete 1968/69 recordings are made available once more..
