The Decca Years 1965-68 - Majority

The Decca Years 1965-68
This collection compiles almost all of the tracks they recorded as singles for Decca Records between 1965 and 1968, including the blistering ‘One Third’, which is now hailed as a classic example of prime 60s freakbeat. Many of these recordings are making their first appearance on CD, including the adventurous beat of their debut ‘Pretty Little Girl’ (which features Jimmy Page on lead guitar) and ‘A Little Bit of Sunlight’, a superb song written by Ray Davies but never recorded by his group, the Kinks.
