Cluster II - Cluster

Cluster II
NEW REMASTERED CD RELEASE FOR THE CLASSIC 1972 ALBUM BY THE LEGENDARY CLUSTER
BOOKLET WITH RESTORED ARTWORK, PHOTOS & LINER NOTES

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a newly remastered edition of Cluster’s classic 1972 album "Cluster II”. Hans-Joachim Roedelius & Dieter Moebius had been making experimental electronic music since meeting at Berlin’s famed Zodiak arts lab in the late 1960s. "Cluster II” was their second work for a major label and was released in Germany on the Brain label in 1972. The sessions saw producer (and contributor to Cluster’s first album) Conny Plank oversee the proceedings.
Less "industrial” in feel to Cluster’s debut work, "Cluster II” is nevertheless a classic, hailed by aficionado Julian Cope as a major album in his book "Krautrocksampler”.
This Esoteric Reactive edition is newly remastered and
fully restores the original album artwork and includes a booklet with new essay.

Ammerland
New remastered cd release for this classic german ambient rock album booklet with restored artwork, photos & liner notes Reviews in "UNCUT”, "MOJO”, "RECORD COLLECTOR” & "CLASSIC ROCK” MAGAZINES Coverage on relevant websites & fanzines ESOTERIC RECORDINGS continue the launch of their REACTIVE imprint in April 2010 with the first ever UK CD release of the stunning instrumental album "Ammerland” by FUHRS and FROHLING. Keyboard player GERD FUHRS and guitarist HEINZ FROHLING were two thirds of the trio SCHICKE, FUHRS & FROHLING (SFF), whose first two albums are also released by REACTIVE this month. With the demise of SFF, Gerd Fuhrs expanded the musical focus of the duo to great effect utilising Synthesisers, Mellotron and Grand Piano to great effect, complimenting Heinz Frohling's versatile guitar playing perfectly. Dominated by the gorgeous "Every Land Tells a Story”, "Ammerland” is the equal of the finest ambient progressive music and its release as a re-mastered CD is long overdue. The REACTIVE reissue includes liner notes by Heinz Frohling. Our Price: £10.95

High Tide
ESOTERIC RECORDINGS are proud to announce their release of the classic eponymous 1970 album by HIGH TIDE. Formed in Ladbroke Grove, London in 1969, the band featured the intense guitar playing of TONY HILL, the Violin and Keyboard skills of SIMON HOUSE (later to join the THIRD EAR BAND and then HAWKWIND), bassist PETE PAVLI and drummer ROGER HADDEN. Signing to LIBERTY RECORDS soon after formation, the band recorded SEA SHANTIES at Olympic studios in 1969, an album featuring some of the heaviest gothic rock recorded at that time. Their self titled second album was recorded in 1970 for Liberty and was equally stunning. This reissue includes four bonus tracks, including demos and out-takes from the album session. With restored artwork, this reissue is essential for both Progressive and Hard Rock fans. Our Price: £10.95
