 Rock Goddess were a three-piece female band from Wandsworth, South London. Sisters Jody (18) and Julie (14) Turner, together with school friend Tracey Lamb (18), guitarist and keyboardist Donnica Camon formed the band in 1977, and like Girlschool, were really the only British female bands of their era.Touring with the likes of Androids Of Mu and the Gymslips, Rock Goddess burned a lot brighter than most of their contemporaries, picking up much of Girlschool's following as the latter began to run out of steam. Originally released in 1983, this is the first complete release for this album on CD this classic album also features the bonus track "I Didn't Know I Loved You Till I Saw You Rock N Roll" |
