My Woman My Woman, My Wife I Marty After Midnight
Marty Robbins (1925-1982) was one of the greatest talents in country music. His versatility enabled him to have successful albums covering genres of music such as Western, Hawaiian, Mexican, Rockabilly, Gospel, Pop and Standards.
The album "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife” appears here for the first time on CD. Originally released in 1970, Marty won a Grammy award (Song of the Year) for the title track. The album reached No. 2 in the charts and remained there for 35 weeks. The single ‘My Woman, My Woman, My Wife’ reached No. 1 on the country chart and No. 42 on the Billboard pop chart.
"Marty After Midnight” shows that he is up there with the best of them as a song stylist interpreting the great songs from Tin Pan Alley as well as contributing his own great song ‘Don’t Throw Me Away’.

Crystal Gayle / Somebody Loves You
Crystal’s first two albums from 1975 set the standard for what would be the start of an internationally successful recording career.
The debut album "Crystal Gayle” includes her first recording of ‘When I Dream’ and three chart singles ‘Wrong Road Again’, ‘Beyond You’ and ‘This Is My Year For Mexico’.
Such was the impact made by "Crystal Gayle” that the follow-up "Somebody Loves You” was rushed out just eight months later in October, 1975. It made Number 11 on the charts and produced two hit singles, the title track peaked at Number 8 while ‘I’ll Get Over You’ gave Crystal her first Number 1 hit.

By The Time I Get To Phoenix / Tonight Carmen
Marty Robbins’ career was lengthy, even by country music standards; he released his first single in 1952 and performed right up to his death three decades later.
The two titles paired here were recorded in the Sixties, a period when Robbins was one of the biggest names in country. He registered 31 hits, 13 of which crossed over to the pop charts, and was declared Man of the Decade by the Academy of Country Music.
Released in 1968, "By The Time I Get To Phoenix” featured some of Marty’s favourite songs plus four Robbins’ compositions. This album showcases his tremendous range and ability to cross musical genres.
The album reached No. 8 and spent 19 weeks on the Billboard country chart. The single ‘Love Is In The Air’ reached No. 10.
In 1967 Marty released his Mexican-themed album "Tonight Carmen”. It reached No. 4 and spent 25 weeks on the Billboard country chart. The title track reached No. 1 in the singles chart and ‘The Girl With Gardenias In Her Hair’ reached No. 9.
Both albums appear for the first time on CD.
