 This CD collection features the highly acclaimed and pioneering Goth band, 1919. The band formed in December 1980 in Bradford and set about recording heavy, melodic, intense dance music with no frills and pretentions. The band were an early contributor to what became the Goth genre. This collection features all the tracks that were recorded by 1919, including their singles "Caged", "Repulsion" and "Cry Wolf". The CD also has all the tracks from the band's ultra rare album "Machine" from 1984.These tracks are all appearing for the first time on CD. The CD booklet includes all the band's original sleeves, sleeve notes and a complete discography of the band's releases to give a comprehensive view of the band's history.
