ESOTERIC RECORDINGS are pleased to announce the remastered release of SOFT MACHINE’s final album, "LAND OF COCKAYNE”.   By the time the album was recorded SOFT MACHINE comprised keyboard player and saxophonist KARL JENKINS and drummer JOHN MARSHALL. The duo were joined by musicians such as JACK BRUCE, the returning ALLAN HOLDSWORTH, DICK MORRISSEY and RAY WARLEIGH among others to produce a different, but polished album.   This official ESOTERIC CD edition has been re-mastered from the original master tapes and features an essay by Sid Smith.

As In A Last Supper

Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, better known in English speaking countries as BANCO, were one of the finest Italian Progressive rock bands of the 1970 s and along with compatriot s P.F.M. were one of the better known Italian groups

A successful act in their homeland, they came to international attention when they signed to Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s label Manticore in 1975.

Their second and final album for the label, As In A Last Supper was the English language version of their classic Come In Un Ultima Cena and featured the impressive track Slogan. A classic Progressive album, this new CD edition has been newly re-mastered and marks the albums British debut on CD and continues the comprehensive series of releases of the classic Manticore catalogue.

Choose Your Masques
Atomhenge, the home of Hawkwind’s catalogue from 1976 - 1997, continue their series of definitive reissued editions of these classic albums with the release of Choose Your Masques.The album, originally released in 1982 by RCA ACTIVE, was the final Hawkwind release for the label and considered the finest of this era by many fans. The album would feature a line-up Dave Brock, Harvey Bainbridge, Huw Lloyd Langton and Martin Griffin and contained such excellent material as Arrival in Utopia , Solitary Mind Games , Choose Your Masques , Waiting or Tomorrow and Dream Worker.The album was a Top Thirty success upon its release and spawned a memorable tour on which the band was joined by original member Nik Turner. This deluxe atomhenge edition has been remastered from the original master tapes and adds 14 Bonus tracks, with 12 of these featuring on a bonus CD.

White Zone
ATOMHENGE, the home of Hawkwind's catalogue from 1976 1997, continue their series of definitive reissued editions of these classic albums with the release of WHITE ZONE.
Credited to the fictitious group Psychedelic Warriors, the album was recorded by DAVE BROCK, ALAN DAVEY and Richard Chadwick at Rockfield studios in November and December 1994, revealing another side of their musical nature, taking in influences from the UK Dance and Rave music scene, creating a unique record that was also undeniably Hawkwind.Issued on the Emergency Broadcast label in 1995 and deleted soon after, the album has remained elusive to Hawkwind fans for many years, making this reissue most welcome.

Electric Tepee
The album, originally released in 1992 was an acclaimed work which showed Hawkwind were still innovators, taking in new ambient influences within their work, yet still remaining true to their own unique style of Space Rock. Long deleted on CD in its original form and Including such classic tracks as 'Right to Decide', 'The Secret Agent' and 'Mask of Morning', this reissue has been re-mastered from the original master tapes and is a fitting definitive edition for a classic Hawkwind album of more recent times.

A Story Ended – Expanded Edition
Released 29/06/09. Recorded in April 1972, 'A Story Ended' was the debut solo album by Colosseum saxophonist Dick Heckstall-Smith. Recorded upon the demise of Colosseum, the sessions featured contributions by Jon Hiseman, Mark Clarke, Chris Farlowe & Dave Greenslade Of The Band, along with Graham Bond (of whose organization Dick was a member alongside Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker), Chris Spedding and lyrical offerings from Pete Brown. A superb example of Jazz influenced Progressive rock, the album appeared on Bronze Records in 1972 and is now hailed as a classic of the genre. This Esoteric reissue features three live recordings as bonus tracks and two studio tracks by the band Manchild featuring Dick Heckstall-Smith, James Litherland, Dave Rose, Billy Smith and Theodore Thunder.
