A remake of the 1953 film The Wages of Fear , Tangerine Dream members Edgar Froese, Christopher Franke and Peter Bau.mann composed a stunning electronic score which perfectly accompanied Ffriedkin’s imagary and was the band s first commission for a Hollywood movie.

This Esoteric Reactive edition is newly re-mastered, restores the original album artwork and includes a lavishly illustrated booklet with new essay.

The Anvil
The long overdue reissue of this classic 1982 album 'The Anvil', by the pioneers of the New Romantic movement, Visage.

The album reached No.6 in the UK album charts. The album produced two hit singles for the band, 'The Damned Don't Cry' (No.11) and 'Night Train' (No.12). Visage were a super group of their day, formed by Steve Strange and ex-Rich Kid Rusty Egan, they recruited Billy Currie and Midge Ure from Ultravox, Dave Formula and Barry

Adamson from Magazine and John McGeogh from Siouxsie & The Banshees.

Together they produced 2 innovative and commercially successful albums with the resulting 5 hit singles. This CD reissue features 6 bonus tracks not included on the original 9 track release. These include dance mixes of the hit singles 'Mind Of A Toy' and 'The Damned Don't Cry' and the rare b-sides 'Motivation' and 'I'm Still Searching'. The CD booklet features sleeve notes, discography and all the single sleeves taken from the original album. As the leading lights of the New Romantic movement, Visage's legacy is lasting. The band's reputation for producing quality electronic pop lives on.

Recorded for Virgin Records in 1974, Hatfield and the North was the eponymous debut album by the band comprising former Caravan member Richard Sinclair, keyboard player Dave Stewart, guitarist Phil Miller and drummer Pip Pyle. Regarded as one of the finest albums in the Canterbury genre, the album also featured guest appearances by Geoff Leigh of Henry Cow and Robert Wyatt who sang guest vocals on the track Calyx. This Esoteric Recordings reissue adds both sides of the band's 1974 and Your Majesty is Like a Cream Donut / Oh What a Lonely Lifetime featured on the Virgin sampler album V and previously unreleased on CD as bonus tracks, together with a booklet featuring restored artwork and notes by Sid Smith. The Rotters’ Club

Recorded for Virgin Records in 1974, The Rotters Club was the second album by the band comprising former Caravan member Richard Sinclair, keyboard player Dave Stewart, guitarist Phil Miller and drummer Pip Pyle. Regarded as one of the finest albums in the Canterbury genre, the album also featured guest appearances by such luminaries as Jimmy Hastings and Mont Campbell. This Esoteric Recordings reissue adds material included on the 1980 compilation Afters and on the Over the Rainbow live album from 1975. Poland ~ The Warsaw Concert
Esoteric recordings are pleased to announce the release of a newly
re-mastered edition of the album Poland the Warsaw Concert by Tangerine
Dream. On the 10th December 1983 Edgar Froese, Chris Franke and Johannes
Schmolling performed a legendary concert in the Ice Stadium in Warsaw -
a unique event, given the political situation in Poland at the time.
The resulting live album was issued as a double LP set on the Jive
Electro label the following year to great acclaim. Of all the subsequent
CD releases of the album, only two early editions, released in the USA
& Germany, featured the full unedited version of the original double
LP.
