Originally released in 1974, Slow Motion was another classic album in the catalogue of Welsh rock legends, Man. Touring extensively to support the record, Man delivered a stunning series of concerts and made a triumphant return to the USA early the following year. As part of Esoteric'sreissue programme of the MAN catalogue we are proud to present the re-mastered album and with a selection of studio out-takes and four previously unreleased live tracks recorded in California in May 1975. With superbly re-mastered sound and lavish booklet with notes by Man'sDeke Leonard, this is yet another essential release for fans of Man.

Hearts On Fire

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to release a newly remastered edition of the classic 1976 final album by the legendary Baker Gurvitz Army. Formed by former gun and three man army members Adrian Gurvitz (guitar, vocals), Paul Gurvitz (bass, vocals) and virtuoso drummer Ginger Baker, the Baker Gurvitz Army Recorded three of the finest british rock music of the mid-1970s. The recording of elysian encounter saw the band expanded with the addition of vocalist Mr. Snips(Steve Parsons) and keyboard player Peter Lemer. By the time hearts of fire was recorded John Norman Mitchell had replaced Peter Lemer on keyboards and vibes. Another fine work, the album featured such classic material as flying in and out of stardom , Thirsty For The Blues and Night People . This Esoteric Recordings reissue has been newly remastered and features the live bonus track wotever It Is and booklet with new essay and fully restored artwork.

Journey
Released on 29/03/10. Journey, the third and final album by Arthur Brown's Psych / Space Rock outfit Kingdom Come. Issued on Polydor in 1973, the album was coproduced by Dave Edmunds and is arguably their most well known work. Touching on the musical territory of fellow travellers Hawkwind, Journey was a masterwork and is now rightly regarded as a classic. This newly remastered edition includes a bonus CD featuring 8 bonus tracks of rare single material, alternate mixes and three recordings from a BBC Radio One John Peel session from 1972. Live Tapes (Expanded Edition)
Released 27/04/09. Recorded over two tours in 1976 and 1977, 'Live Tapes' was released as Barclay James Harvest were on the ascendant. Following on the heels of their Platinum selling album 'Gone to Earth', a huge hit in Germany and a top thirty album in the UK, 'Live Tapes' offered versions of songs from the album such as ‘Poor Man's Moody Blues' and ‘Hymn' alongside live selections from albums such as 'Time Honoured Ghosts' and 'Octoberon'. This collection also adds three bonus tracks not released on the original double album, ‘Medicine Man', ‘The World Goes On' and ‘Hymn for the Children', Released to coincide with a series of British concerts by John Lees' Barclay James Harvest, this album makes a much welcomed appearance on CD once more and joins the release of an expanded 'Barclay James Harvest Live' on Esoteric Recordings this month.
