Man's second classic album for liberty / ua - now 24-bit re-mastered from the original master tapes with previously unreleased bonus tracks. Man's importance in the history of Welsh rock music cannot be understated. Fusing the worlds of Psychedelia, Blues, Rock and Roll and West Coast inspired rock, they were simply one of Britain's most original groups of the 1970's. Recording a series of Classic albums for Liberty / United Artists, man, along with labelmates Hawkwind, were true champions of the "Underground" spirit. Esoteric Recordings are proud to undertake the reissuing of Man's entire legacy for United Artists continuing with their 2nd album for the label released in November 1971. The reissue is expanded by 35 minutes featuring 3 previously unreleased live bonus tracks from 1971 and liner notes exclusively penned by Man guitarist and raconteur Deke Leonard. The recording of elysian encounter saw the band expanded with the addition of vocalist Mr. Snips(Steve Parsons) and keyboard player Peter Lemer. By the time hearts of fire was recorded John Norman Mitchell had replaced Peter Lemer on keyboards and vibes. Another fine work, the album featured such classic material as flying in and out of stardom , Thirsty For The Blues and Night People . Journey
Released on 29/03/10. Journey, the third and final album by Arthur Brown's Psych / Space Rock outfit Kingdom Come. Issued on Polydor in 1973, the album was coproduced by Dave Edmunds and is arguably their most well known work. Touching on the musical territory of fellow travellers Hawkwind, Journey was a masterwork and is now rightly regarded as a classic. This newly remastered edition includes a bonus CD featuring 8 bonus tracks of rare single material, alternate mixes and three recordings from a BBC Radio One John Peel session from 1972.
