Another Fine Tune You’ve Got Me Into – Re-Mastered Edition
Released 25/05/09. Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the first official release of a re-mastered edition of the classic 1978 album by Gilgamesh. These Canterbury stylists were formed in 1972 with the core of the band built around Alan Gowen on keyboards and Mike Travis on drums. At various times the line-up included former Caravan and Hatfield & the North member Richard Sinclair, Mont Campbell (formerly of EGG) and Neil Murray. After recording a debut album for Virgin's Caroline label, the band recorded this wonderful album in 1978 for Charly Records. For this, the final Gilgamesh album, Alan Gowen was joined by guitarist Phil Lee, former Soft Machine bass player Hugh Hopper and drummer Trevor Tomkins. 'Another Fine Tune You've Got Me Into' is a classic of the 'Canterbury' style and is sure to be a much sought after release by all aficionados of the genre.

Released on 28/09/09 . Unlike many bands whose careers had begun in the 1970 s, CAMEL continued to enjoy much success in the 1980 s, producing fine studio albums such as Stationary Traveller . Although destined to be Camel'sfinal studio album for Decca Records, it was a fine effort. Hatfield and The North – Expanded Edition
Released 27/07/2009. New remastered & expanded cd release for the Classic debut album by canterbury scene's Finest with bonus tracks; one of which is Completely new to cd! Booklet with photos & liner notes. Recorded for Virgin Records in 1974, Hatfield and the North was the eponymous debut album by the band comprising former Caravan member Richard Sinclair, keyboard player Dave Stewart, guitarist Phil Miller and drummer Pip Pyle. Regarded as one of the finest albums in the Canterbury genre, the album also featured guest appearances by Geoff Leigh of Henry Cow and Robert Wyatt who sang guest vocals on the track Calyx. This Esoteric Recordings reissue adds both sides of the band's 1974 and Your Majesty is Like a Cream Donut / Oh What a Lonely Lifetime featured on the Virgin sampler album V and previously unreleased on CD as bonus tracks, together with a booklet featuring restored artwork and notes by Sid Smith. Soft Heap – Re-mastered edition

These Canterbury stylists featured leading lights of the genre. Comprising former Soft Machine members Hugh Hopper on bass and Elton Dean on saxophone, former Hatfield & The North drummer Pip Pyle, and Gilgamesh keyboard player Alan Gowen, the group recorded this sole album for Charly Records in 1978, drawing stylistically upon each member's musical pedigree and producing a record of excellence. Stomu Yamashta is a master percussionist who studied jazz drumming at the Berklee School Of Jazz. In the 1970's he recorded a string of innovative albums for Island records which utilised the talents of such leading musicians as Hugh Hopper, Maurice Pert, Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve and Klaus Schulze, fusing his percussion talents with jazz, electronic and classical music to creat an ambient form of music all of his own. His music has been used by the Royal Ballet. Originally released in April 1976, 'Go' is perhaps Yamashta's finest achievement and also featured collaborators Steve Winwood and Michael Shrieve along with artists such as Klaus Schulze and ex-Traffic and future Can bassist Rosko Gee.
