Esoteric Recordings continue their series of reissues by Flash with Out of Our Hands . Upon his departure from Yes following the release of the album Time and a Word, guitarist Peter Banks formed this excellent Progressive outfit featuring Ray Bennett (bass, guitar), Colin Carter (vocals) and Mike Hough (drums). Signing to the Sovereign label in the UK, Flash recorded their eponymous debut album in 1972, enjoying much popularity in the USA. Out Of Our Hands was the final offering from the group and was released in 1973, featuring such excellent material as Dead Ahead , None the Wiser , Psychosync and Manhattan Morning . This Esoteric Recordings re-mastered reissue is certain to appeal to the legions of YES fans and lovers of Classic and Progressive rock.

Dog Soldier

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the first official cd release of the album Dog Soldier. Formed by Miller Anderson and Keef Hartley upon the demise of the Keef Hartley Band. Also featuring Mel Simpson (Keyboards), Paul Bliss (Bass) And Derek Griffiths (Lead Guitar), The Album Was Recorded In 1974 And Featured Excellent material such as Pillar To Post , Thieves And Robbers and the twelve minute long Looks Like Rain . Originally released on the United Artists label in 1975, the album has never received an official CD release until now. This Esoteric Recordings edition has been remastered from the original master tapes and features a previously unreleased version of looks like rain as a bonus tracks.

Night music
Darryl Way was founder member of the legendary Curved Air, a group that brought Ways strident electric violin playing to the fore on a string of hit albums. In 1973, Way formed Wolf, a progressive outfit featuring guitarist John Etheridge, bassist Dek Messecar (later in Caravan) and drummer Ian Mosley (now in Marillion). The music was a heady mixture of styles and secured the band a contract with Deccas Deram label. Night Music was the final album in the Wolf trilogy and perhaps the finest. With the band augmented by former IF vocalist John Hodgkinson, the album is a lost classic of 70'srock. Our Price: £10.95

In 1973, Way formed Wolf, a progressive outfit featuring guitarist John Etheridge, bassist Dek Messecar (later in Caravan) and drummer Ian Mosley (now in Marillion). The music was a heady mixture of styles and secured the band a contract with Decca'sDeram label. Canis Lupus was the group'sdebut, produced by King Crimson member Ian McDonald (who also guested on the record). This first ever UK CD reissue of the album includes bonus tracks, expanded artwork and is released to coincide with Curved Airs reformation and appearance at the Isle of Wight festival in June 2008. Flash
Released on 23/11/09.
