Released 29/06/09. 'Fat Mattress II' was the second album by the band formed by jimi hendrix Experience bass guitarist Noel Redding. Recorded in late 1969, the album followed on in style from the band's debut album (also released this month on Esoteric). Issued in 1970 the album failed to get the attention it deserved at the time of release but has subsequently been hailed as a classic of the era. This Esoteric reissue has six bonus tracks taken from the unreleased third Fat Mattress album.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to release a newly re-mastered edition of the classic 1969 debut album by Juicy Lucy. Formed out of the ashes of the legendary group The Misunderstood, the band featured Ray Owen (vocals), Glen Campbell (steel guitar), Chis Mercer (saxophone), Neil Hubbard (guitar), Keith Ellis (bass) and Pete Dobson (drums).

One of the first signings to Vertigo Records, Juicy Lucy’s debut was a fine work and spawned their classic interpretation of Bo Diddley’s Who Do You Love? A top ten UK hit.

End Of The World by Greek Psych / Prog legends Aphrodite's Child. Formed in 1967 by keyboard player VANGELIS, the band also featured Demis Roussos on bass and vocals and Lucas Sideras on Drums. Their classic debut album was released in 1968 and featured the international hit Rain and Tears , partially inspired by Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade of Pale. However, the album revealed a more experimental side to the Band's nature with such Psychedelic gems as The Grass is No Green, You Always Stand in My Way and Day of the Fool. Mercator Projected
A milestone in the birth of 'progressive' rock, East of Eden's debut album, 'Mercator Projected' has been cited by Mojo magazine as a minor masterpiece. Released on the legendary Deram label in 1969, the album established East of Eden as a major act, particularly in France, where the band had several Top Ten singles and major album success. An imaginative fusion of jazz, psychedelia and world music, 'Mercator Projected' has been re-mastered from the original master tapes and features twenty minutes of bonus material, including previously unreleased extended demo versions of ‘Waterways' and ‘In The Stable of the Sphynx' and East of Eden's take on The Byrds' classic ‘Eight Miles High'.
