Nelson Riddle is simply the greatest orchestral arranger of popular music and an American institution. He was responsible for the careers of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole and alongside Henry Mancini dominated the era. Riddle’s incredible reputation is due to the utmost refinement of his work and involvement in such successes as the Batman TV show and Stanley Kubrick's controversial film "Lolita". Our set collates rare solo recordings made when Nelson was working with Sinatra at the very top; his work is the sound of mid-century America.
