Richard Anderson

Books
Kurt Vonnegaut, Chuck Palahaniuk, anyone whos name is difficult to spell on my "Meet The Team" entry. Japanese cookery books too.

CDs
Pictish Trail - "Secret Soundz", Serafina Steer - the little Japanese one, King Creosote - "Vulcans", various CR releases (particularly CUD's "Leggy Mambo"), Queen - "Flash Gordon Soundtrack", Button Series, Magnetic Fields' "69 Love Songs", Doll Brains, The Residents, Morgan Fisher, Beach Boys at Wally Heider, Portishead - "Third" and blah blah blah

Films

I saw "The Sound Of Music" for the first time recently - that was quite good. Also saw "March of The Penguins", which was ok, although its difficult to maintain the "aren't penguins interesting..." angle for much more than half an hour. I also watched "Shock Treatment", the Rocky horror sequel. Turns out its been a bit of a camp couple of months, movie-wise. I've just joined LoveFilm, so expect Barry Norman style macho movie knowledge from me in the near future.

Gigs

£50 to stand in a probably wet field and watch Radiohead for two hours ? No thanks. I've been keeping it underground - Laura Moody, Button Series, Steve Mason in Fife, Troy's Magic Piano, Astonishing Sounds, Bicycle Thieves, that kind of thing.

Sports
It’s all a fix nowadays, isn't it ? The BIG FOUR have killed my interest in football. Does anyone still take it seriously?
