Sometime Next Year - Clifford T Ward

Sometime Next Year
This is the sixth instalment of Cherry Red's critically acclaimed reissue series of the irrefutable talent that was Clifford T. Ward. 'Sometime Next Year' was originally released on vinyl in 1986 on the Roger Whittaker owned Tempo label. It has never been released on CD before. Since Clifford sadly died three years ago there has been a growing interest in his work as one of the most original English singer songwriters. Clifford was originally signed to John Peel's Dandelion label and went onto have a Top Ten hit with 'Gaye' in 1975.

Julia & Other Stories
In June of this year, Clifford T Ward finished above the Beatles in a BBC Radio 2 poll of the best music released during the Queen's reign. Unfortunately Clifford wasn't around to witness this as he sadly died in December 2001 at the age of 57. Also in June of this year Cherry Red issued it's first Clifford T Ward CD. Titled "Anthology", it was an overview of the career of a great singer and songwriter and contained singles, album tracks and unreleased material from a much celebrated and critically acclaimed artist. Now Cherry Red is set to re-issue his "Julia & Other New Stories" album which was recorded nearly ten years ago and originally released by Graduate Records. David Virr of Graduate Records has written the sleevenotes for this updated version of the album, which now includes four extra tracks and is accompanied by an extended booklet including rare photos. With the addition of "Who Cares", "Jigsaw Girl", "Lost In The Flow Of Your Love" and "Heaven" this new edition of "Julia & Other Stories" contains 23 tracks in all. This is a classic album by a gifted songwriter Our Price: £9.95
