Frealism CRPOP61
Released on 16/08/10. Hailing from Peckham, South London, Freaky Realistic were an early nineties act who fused pop melodies with blissed out dance beats. Their sole album Frealism from 1993 has become a much prized artefact on CD, selling for £25+ on Amazon and eBay. The band revolved the songwriting and singing talents of Justin Anderson, with help from second singer Aki Omori (later with The Orb) and rapper MPL. This is the first-ever reissue of Frealism. It has been enhanced by two bonus tracks and artwork remixed by original designer Jim Phelan. It boasts the cult hits Koochie Ryder and Leonard Nimoy, which both made the Top 75. Also includes debut single Something New. Sleeve-notes include personal recollections from Justin Anderson.
