| THE DAMNED |
| The first British punk band to make a record - their Stiff
single New Rose, in October 1976, just pipped the Sex Pistols' Anarchy In
The UK. Their most famed line-up will alway be that late-70s one of Dave
Vanian (vocals), Brian James (guitar), Captain Sensible (bass) and Rat Scabies
(drums), but in fact they split, reformed and changed partners more than
most people have the proverbial hot dinner, and many additional musicians
are scattered around below. |
