Cherry Red Books began in 1997 with the publication of Indie Hits 1980 - 1989: The Complete UK Independent Charts (Singles & Albums). To date this imprint has covered music subjects including Mott The Hoople, Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, Johnny Thunders, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles' Apple Organization and A To Z Guides to various metal genres including Black Metal and Thrash Metal.

Cherry Red's connection to the game of football goes back a long way. Over the years we have sponsored football clubs, the Hellenic league, cup competitions and have released well over 50 football related CDs covering various English and Scottish league clubs. Continuing our association with the beautiful game Cherry Red Books presents its first football titles.

Roximillion Publications was started in 1989 and initially published three books, the imprint is now being revived in 2003 through Cherry Red Books with the publication of Alex Howard's 'Why ME?
