1996 is the 20th anniversary of Punk and also the 20th anniversary of The Vibrators, one of punk's longest surviving bands. Formed at the very beginning of punk, the band currently appear in May's edition of 'Q' magazine in the feature on the punk festival at the 100 club in 1976, (who many feel was the true beginning of punk) where they were one of the headline bands. This anniversary release is a 23 track round up of every independent A, B and EP release issued by the band and includes their independent chart hits "Disco In Mosco", "Baby Baby", "Guilty" and "Flying Home" as well as tracks never before released on CD. This CD is a 22 track collection of the Vibrators' fifth and sixth studio albums, released originally in 1985 and 1988 respectively. Included are the singles Blown Away By Love and String Him Along, both collectors' items in their own right. The vibrators are one of punk's founding fathers and still have a large worldwide fanbase, still touring around the world pleasing old fans as well as gaining new ones. A welcome release for this 1994 album which has been much in demand and has been unavailable for over 5 years.
