crpie003 This is a Rockabilly/Rock n' Roll/Psychobilly compilation themed around motorcycles and the legendary Ace Cafe London. The cafe has been the subject of many TV documentaries and its place in rock n' roll history as one of London's most iconic venues is assured. It is perhaps the most famous of the original Ton-Up & Rocker haunts of the 50's and 60's. The Ace appears regularly on TV, hosting broadcasts for various bike and car programmes, and was also used as the location for the 60's cult British motorcycle film, The Leather Boys, where the regular patrons were used as film extras. In addition to being a cafe/restaurant, the Ace hosts live music and numerous bike and car meets throughout the year. This release celebrates the 70th anniversary of the cafe (1938-2008) and will attract a lot of publicity. The CD contains 20 songs related to motorcycles, with the Ace itself mentioned in some of the lyrics. It's the ultimate Rockers CD but will also appeal to Rock n' Rollers/Rockabillies/Psychobillies.

cdmpsycho45 This compilation is a unique idea as the album covers a selection of tracks featuring the following long time Morrissey band members: Boz Boorer - was in the brilliant rockabilly band The Polecats, but could also be often found playing live with The Delta's and The Frantix. Gary Day - Bass/double bass On the Rockin' Scene Gary Day played on and off in The Frantic Flintstones, The Sharks and The Nitros (who often recorded as Colbert Hamilton's backing group). He also recorded as The Gazmen - which was basically The Sharks with the addition of Morrissey guitarist Alain Whyte. Alain Whyte - long time Moz collaborator and guitarist was in a few obscure Rockabilly bands, before teaming up with the Sharks to record as The Gazmen and then went on to play in and produce Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams. Johnny Bridgewood - one time Morrissey bassist came from the psycho/garage band The Stingrays. The album contains some previously unheard and hard to get tracks and also there will be detailed sleeve notes and rare pictures.
