 The first offering on Cherry Bomb Recordings, the new home for up and coming Psycho bands brought to you by Cherry Red Records, is Judder and the Jack Rabbits. Hailing from Norwich the band came to be in 2005 with the manifesto - "formed by sick minds some time ago, with the main aim to write music that would make you want to vomit and dance at the same time". Most will say that they have been successful! The resurgence of Psychobilly in recent years created many a young band, and Judder are one of the finest around. Mixing toe-tapping Psychobilly with the aggression and in- your- face attitude of hard-core punk to fine affect, Judder are taking everyone hostage. Having already built up a loyal fan-base, the band soon got some Radio One Airplay. It wasn't long before Judder were to be invited to do a session on Mike Davies revered, "The Lock-Up" being heralded by the man himself as a band to watch in 2007. Conjuring up images of Danzig era Misfits, coming from same warped mind of Demented Are Go, the attitude of the Nerve Agents all with a dash of Tiger Armys melodies, these boys tick all the right boxes. Press is expected in all the major alternative magazines such as Big Cheese, Kerrang and Rock Sound along with countless fanzines. Gigging continuously in their hometown area, Judder and The Jack Rabbits will be hitting the road in September to promote their album and bring their special brand of psycho sickness to a town near you. They are not to be missed!
