Boys - Complete Punk Singles Collection - CDPUNK85The Boys formed in the summer of 1976 by guitarist John Plain, he then recruited Duncan Reid on bass, Jack Black on drums, Matt Dangerfield as second guitarist and Casino Steel on Keyboards, formerly of the Hollywood Brats, completed the line up. The Boys made their name by touring with John Cale in April 1977, but success for the band came from Europe, especially Holland and Norway, rather than the UK. The track listing includes the band's first single "I Don't Care", and "The First Time" and "Brickfield Nights" which have both been covered by German Mega Punks Die Toten Hosen plus tracks released under their pseudonym The Yobs.
